The 2009 San Francisco Giants closed out the year on a downswing as the team, which led in NL Wild Card race for the majority of the season, gave their position away to the Colorado Rockies, plunging them to third place in the NL West with an    88-74 record.

Things do look great for the Giants going into next season.  The most positive thing the team took away from the 09 season was that they had a rotation that featured three Cy Young Award Winners:  Tim Lincecum, Barry Zito and Randy Johnson.
